At Batching Plant Narogong, there are many important equipments supporting the concrete making process, some of that equipments are driven by 3 fasa induction motors such as for actuating the pump, the belt conveyor, the compressor and other functions. These motors are protected by using 3 fasa electrical protection devices such as MCCB, MCB, Contactor and Thermal Over Load Relay (THOR) to prevent from overload and short circuit conditions. The condition of the motor protection device that is not accordance with the load make the motor is not protected, which will affect the burning of the motor, this will make the operational Batching Plant has down time, where when one 3 phase induction motor burned because the protection system is not function, it must stop the production process for a while and then do the replacement process. this has caused a loss, because not reaching the optimum amount of concrete production and the expenditure cost maintenace of Rp 7,000,000 for a one-time replacement motor. The same thing happens in a 1 phase protection devices, other than not in accordance with the load, on the unbalanced power distribution between the R, S, and T phases. This research aims to redesign the motor protection system and power distribution in the Batching Plant Narogong. The study begins with the retrieval of data from a 1 phase load seen from its active power and 3 phases derived from the name plate motor. The data is then calculated per-line based on the PUIL standard to determine the type and rating of the protection system to be used. Furthermore, making the image of SLD (Single Line Diagram) and MLD (Multi Line Diagram) to see the power distribution path, which then becomes the basis in load balancing on phases R, S, and T. After the results of the design obtained, it can make for setting the protection system of each motor and 1 phase load, as well as the main breaker on each panel which refer to standard PUIL. And obtained equal load distribution in phase R; 44,55 kVA, S; 44,53 kVA, and T; 44,90 kVA.
