In Indonesia the average process of meatballs molding in medium to low industrial scale is still using the manual method by hand. Placing it manually takes a long time and is still in doubt cleanliness. One way to solve the above problems by designing a low industrial scale molding machine that can help small entrepreneurs. The purpose of this design is to create a mold and storage device, calculate the power and capacity used to make meatballs that are beneficial to lower-middle-scale industries and as a solution to make meatballs production more efficient and effective.In this design, the primary data used is the dough capacity of Meatballs 0.25 kg/min, the diameter of the meatballs 25 mm and the 20 grains/minute. The working principle of this meatball molding machine is use a specially designed cutting tool to mold the meatballs with a diameter of 25 mm. The design method used is to use the primary data to determine the transmission system, the dimensions of the machine components and the molding mechanism of the meatballs.The results obtained from this design is the amount of power that we need for meatball printing machine is 1/4 HP. The material used for cutting tools and tubs or funnel made of 304 stainless steel plate with width 40 mm and height 135 mm. The engine frame uses an hollow iron, the profile is ( ) mm and the frame connection using electric weld. The power obtained is in accordance with the power available in each medium to lower scale industry so that the machine can be used as an industry with medium to lower scale. The results obtained from this machine design the maximum production capacity is 1000 grains/hour.
