PT Holcim Indonesia Cilacap plant has several equipments in production process that are Raw Mill, Kiln, Finish Mill, and Coal Mill. The factory operates for 24 hours. In contrast to other equipment, Kiln continues to work as long as the plant operates. Kiln does not work only if it is scheduled to stop. Kiln operation is heavily dependent on fuel availability. Kiln's main fuel is coal. Coal is a fuel that can not be renewed and expensive. Therefore, PT Holcim Indonesia uses rice husk as an alternative fuel & raw material (AFR). Rice Husk is an alternative fuel & raw material (AFR) used in combustion process in kalsiner. Before the modification of the ability of rice husk transportation to the 5th floor of preheater <5 tons per hour and often the material of plug / blocking. For that ejector is modified so that no more blocking material and feed husk rice husk material can increase. The order of the Implementation of Modification method is to first prepare all the needs for the modification process, the mechanism of the tool work, determine the material, calculate the strength, determine the size, prepare the drawing work, manufacture, assembling, Evaluation. Modification is done by modifying the bulk suduh material on ejector. Based on the evaluation, it is concluded that there is a need for modification of bulk material angle at ejector in order to increase pressure and no material plug. After modifying the bulk corners of the material on the ejector there is no more material plug on the ejector which impacts the decrease in maintenance costs of the equipment and after the modification occurs an increase in air speed by 41% so that the materal feed also increases. With the increased consumption of rice husk in combustion then decrease the consumption of coal causing the decrease of production cost.
