Organic garbage from households that discharged into the environment in Duren Mekar area is very diverse and plentifully. Some examples of such as banana peel, kale, cabbage, spinach, mustard, long bean and broccoli. Organic garbage can be used as raw material for biogas. To produce biogas is only limited to the use of garbage from banana peel, kale, cabbage and spinach. The biogas is made from banana peel, kale, cabbage and spinach that has been separated from anoganic garbage. At the beginning of the process used banana peel waste as much as 4 kg in a blender until homogeneous. The banana peel that has been blended then mixed with 4 liters of water and put into the digester with zise of 20 cm long, 20 cm wide and 30 cm long. The digester was equipped with gas pipe line, feeding tube, liquid outlet pipe and residual solid outlet pipe that each size is 1/2 inch of diameter of gas pipe line, 2 in of diameter of feeding tube, 1/2 inch of diameter of liquid outlet pipe and 2 inch of dimeter of residual solid outlet pipe. The anaerobic fermentation process is run for 7 days with a gas pressure observation every 10 hours. Subsequently, process was conducted with the same procedure but the banana peel replaced with kale, cabbage and spinach gerbage. The maximum biogas pressure that made from banana peel garbage is 1.03325 bar, obtained within 110 hours. The maximum biogas pressure that made from spinach garbage is 1.0366 bar, obtained within 150 hours. The maximum biogas pressure made from kale gerbage is 1.02575 bar, obtained within 150 hours. The maximum biogas pressure that made from cabbage gerbage is 1.02850 bar obtained within 140 hours. In conclusion, the banana peel garbage, spinach garbage, cabbage gerbage and kale gerbage can be made biogas. The best production of biogas is using the banana peel garbage.
