In the Major Inspection activity at UPJP Priok Block 3.1 is performed on the blade which is mounted on the compressor, or called compressor blade, which is still mounted on the Mitsubishi M701F turbine rotor gas. The process of cleaning the blades is still done manually, using a majun fabric and scotch brite disc. There are several types of problems, namely the distance between the blades is quite narrow, also many workers are injured, because scratched by the sharp edges of compressor blade, so disturb the cleaning process. To tackle the problem, it was made to help clean the compressor blade, to clean up the cleaning process of that part. The methodology used to design tools for cleaning the blades on these devices uses an electric motor to rotate the scotch brite disc, and on the disc used for the cleaning process. Furthermore, the calculation of techniques that include force, strength, material, then performed analysis and measurement of the performance of Solidworks devices. The design of the tool is designed based on the smallest distance and width of the blade, can be used the appropriate wind compressor parts. The result of compressor blade cleaner tool on gas turbine rotor Mitsubishi M701F are: 1465 [mm] length, 5 [inch] scotch brite disc diameter, motor power 350 [watt], handle using stainless steel pipe diameter 1 inch. With the design of these tools, it can help to cleaning the blade compressor on the Mitsubishi M701F turbine rotor gas and also minimize the risk of work accident.
